The Manufacturing Process Award
The Manufacturing Process Award is part of the National Honor Awards, and recognizes recognizes significant accomplishments in the field of manufacturing processes, methods or systems.

Nomination Eligibility & Requirements

Nominations can be submitted for both India and international citizens.

Nominees must have made significant contributions to the field of manufacturing.
To submit an International Honor Award nomination:

Download the nomination form (MS WORD)

Verify that the nominee meets all of the outlined eligibility requirements.

Include three (3) letters of recommendation, preferably on letterhead;

One letter should be submitted by the nominator, which briefly highlights the accomplishments of the nominee. Submit, as thoroughly as possible, supporting information (publications, innovations, patents) on the nomination form.
Note: Self-nominations and/or submissions will not be accepted.
Send completed nomination form(s) and recommendation letters no later than Aug. 1 of each year

Award Descriptions

Productivity Award — Presented for distinguished accomplishments in improving capability within the broad concept of orderly production.

Manufacturing Management Award — Acknowledges exceptional success in the integration of the infrastructure and processes of manufacturing through innovative use of human, technical and financial resources.

Manufacturing Process Award — Recognizes significant accomplishments in the field of manufacturing processes, methods or systems.

Manufacturing Education Award — Presented to educator most respected for the development of manufacturing-related curricula, fostering sound training methods or inspiring students to enter the profession of manufacturing.

The Core Value Gold Medal — Awarded for outstanding service to the manufacturing engineering profession in technical communications through published literature, technical writings or lectures.

Nomination Guide

Verify that the nominee meets all eligibility requirements outlined above.

Remember presentation is everything. Typed nominations are strongly encouraged.

Include a minimum of three (3) formal letters of recommendation, preferably on letterhead, one of which should be submitted by the nominator, briefly highlighting the accomplishments of the nominee. Note: Self-nominations will not be accepted.

Have an additional, unbiased person proofread your nomination.

Submit as thorough as possible supporting information on the nomination form.

Send completed form(s) and recommendation letters no later than August 1 of each year to:

Note: Nominations without completed nomination forms and three formal letters of recommendations will not be considered. Nominations are not automatically carried over. A candidate may be nominated for a maximum of three (3) opportunities, provided new information on the candidate’s manufacturing contributions are clearly stated with each subsequent nomination.
